Simon joined Messenger Zerner in July 2015 merging his sole practice. With over 20 years professional experience in public accountancy practice, Simon provides comprehensive business and taxation advisory to a wide range of clients, with a particular interest in small business and superannuation.
Simon is a member of both the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and CPA Australia, and holds Certificates of Public Practice with both professional accounting bodies. Simon is a Registered Tax Agent and a Fellow of the Tax Institute.
Simon is the current staff partner at Messenger Zerner, and really enjoys the challenge that this provides, having had extensive experience in managing staff in his previous roles.
Simon was educated at Rostrevor College, a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition, and was elected a College Prefect in his final year. Simon is the current Treasurer of Edmund Rice Camps South Australia Incorporated.
Simon is a family man who enjoys spending lots of quality time with his young family, and regularly entertaining family and friends. Simon enjoys keeping fit going to the gym religiously. Simon is a very keen traveller and sportsman, enjoying social games of tennis and squash in particular, and is a passionate football follower being a long time member of both the Essendon and Sturt Football clubs.
